What this site collects
Nothing, unless you use the contact form.
There is no analytics on this site. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no self-hosted counter, no tracking pixel. Nobody here knows how many people read any page, which is a genuine cost and an accepted one.
There is no advertising on this site. Some pages carry affiliate links — if you book through one this site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. They are on planning and transport pages only, they are labelled on the page above the first link, and no sight page carries one.
An affiliate link is an ordinary link with a tracking code on it. Following one does not identify you to this site — this site still runs no analytics and still cannot tell who clicked what. The partner you land on has its own privacy policy and its own cookies.
This site sets no cookies. It writes nothing to localStorage or sessionStorage. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
The one third-party request
Pages load their typeface from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). That request reaches Google and, like any web request, carries your IP address and browser user-agent. It is the only third-party request any page on this site makes.
If you would rather it did not happen, a content blocker will stop it and the pages will fall back to a system typeface and remain entirely readable.
Server logs
The web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, time, the page requested, browser user-agent — as essentially every web server does. They are used to keep the site running and to see whether something is broken. They are not linked to any profile, not sold, and not shared.
If you use the contact form
The form sends the message you type, and the email address you provide if you choose to provide one. The address is optional; leave it blank and the message still arrives, you simply cannot be replied to.
Messages are delivered by email to the person who maintains the site and are not added to any mailing list. There is no mailing list.

Affiliate links were added on 9 September 2026, and this page was updated before the first one went live rather than after. If advertising or analytics are ever added, the same order applies.
